Hey friends!!! This is a quick rundown for the week. I was gonna do a voice memo for the first time but I’ll just jot this down quick for now.
Friends:
Everyone is doing great! Bill is gonna be baptized on Saturday the 29th and we are super pumped for that! He is a crazy guy but he is really excited to join the church and I can’t wait to see him grow in the gospel.
Angelina and Josh are as golden as ever. They are meeting with us multiple times a week and loving the Book of Mormon and everything it says! Josh is a slower learner than Angelina but he is keeping up! Had to move the baptism date to April 12th because the Ward didn’t want the baptism to be on Conference weekend, which makes sense.
We are still teaching Christian even though he can’t be baptized right now. He is a trooper, regardless of the circumstances. He is growing a lot and is excited to grow his testimony.
Interviews :
I had a couple of “Prezzy” interviews this week and they were so funny tbh. We talked a lot about
A. Going home
And
B. Girls
It was pretty legendary to be honest. He gave me a lot of advice about going home and the next steps I need to take. He also advised me that for the rest of my mission to learn how the Savior speaks to me personally. It’s been cool to try and focus on that recently.
Missed the Mark:
Elder Tokelau is the funniest Elda ever. Since he got here we have the saying “Missed The Mark”. We live with some Elders and they are constantly “Missing the Mark” and it’s so funny.
Every time we leave a lesson, someone’s home, or apartment, we just run through all the times people have “Missed the Mark”.
Studies:
Studies have been fire recently. I just finished digging deep into Mosiah and “Holy Smokes”… it is the most underrated book in the Book of Mormon for sure.
Something that has stuck out to me recently is a talk given by Brad Wilcox called “Why do we believe in Christ?” He then teaches you why we believe in Jesus Christ. It’s amazing.
