Hellooooo! These intros are getting weak but whatever! Let’s get into it!!!

Monday: Solid P-day. I feel like I just did a ton of driving. tbh haha. We ended up, per usual, just playing a lot of basketball at the church with the Spanish Elders, which was a blast. I got to talk to the fam for quite a while,  which was super fire.

Tuesday: Ended up being a wild day. I have been having a lot of lower back pain, so I called up the mission medical guy and he wanted me to call the Chiropractor and see if I could get an appointment. The lady said they were open all day. Yea!! So we wrapped up our weekly planning and drove from the bottom left corner of the mission, to the top right corner of the mission. It was fire. Only took 38 minutes to drive the entire mission that’s how small it is. haha. He did some x-rays and my back is cooked. haha. He did some cracking and sent me on my way. I’m feeling a bit better so that’s good. We hit Matikis while we were up in Brea and that was fire. And we had a lesson with Bill and it went really good!

Wednesday: Super long day!!! Started at 3:45 am when a homeless dude thought it would be super funny to pull the fire alarm at our apt complex. It appears that the “Homeless” here in LB are built different. We gathered our stuff and headed out thinking it was a real fire when… yeah it wasn’t. We had a bunch of lessons cancel and it started raining really hard. However, we had a cool moment when we found Gabriel to teach.  He had a TON of questions about life.  Every single question he ask, Elder Capps and I were able to answer, using the Book of Mormon. It was fire to see my studies pay off as we listed scriptures that I had never even read 18 months ago.

Thursday: 18 MONTH MARK AS A MISSIONARY – LET’S GOOOO!! Wild huh?? Anyway, SUPER FIRE DAY! It was raining so hard all freaking day but I was here on exchanges with AP Elder Tanner. He is a dawgggg! We had a lesson with Bill in the morning and put him on date for March 8th! It was so awesome!! We had a BUNCH of lessons and we did a ton of tracting cause we wanted to use it as an excuse to get into peoples homes, out of the rain. It worked! We got  in once and got bashed for 45 minutes!!! It was so funny.

Friday: Valentines dayyyyy. Pretty goated day too! Hopefully, yall remember Elder Turpin from a while back. We did a MLC exchange and it was great. He came here, and just talking with him was a lot of fun. We visited some old people he taught when he served here a while ago. We had some cool conversations with people. We ended the night at Angels and yeah… it was amazing.

Saturday: Idk how to even describe the day. We had TONS of lessons set up for the morning and early afternoon, AND EVERY SINGLE ONE CANCELED!!! It was so annoying. But, we stayed productive. We then got invited to got to the stake leadership meeting for stake conference. It was 2 hours long, and I was dying haha. However, it  was great in a way because we have 2 members of the 70 here with us. And then, were asked to stay for the Adult Session too! So, in 5 hours of prime time hours, 4 of them were spent in meetings. haha. Let’s go. However, one cool thing was that one of the 70 is Elder Hunsaker! Which if you remember, is the name of one of my old comps! His Dad is here to reorganize the Stake. It  was so cool to meet my old comps dad!

Sunday: Stake conference was good! The Stake was reorganized which is a blessing because this Stake needs some major help! fs. Our bishop is actually the goat and they pulled him up to be the new Stake President, which sucks. However, it’s also super good for the Stake cause it’s exactly what it needed.  We had some good lessons later on in the day but nothing too crazy happened!

An Interesting Week!

This last week was very interesting because I wasn’t really able to get my full personal studies done due to exchanges and other things. However, I did notice, even with the little time I had to do some studies, I was able to feel the spirit so strong. Its amazing what just a little study can do for you every day. I love this scripture from my personal study this week, D&C 6:13,” If thou wilt do good, yea, and hold out faithful to the end, thou shalt be saved in the kingdom of God, which is the greatest of all the gifts of God; for there is no gift greater than the gift of salvation”

I love you all so much and I know the scriptures are true!
