Hello!! Another day, another weekly email from me lol. What’s up, everyone! I really do hope you are all doing well! I love and miss you all so much, and I want you all to know that! This was a solid week with some fun moments. Also, my P-Day next week will be on Tuesday because we get to go to the temple! YAY!
Monday: Elder Robinson’s first P-day in the mission was pretty solid. There was a glitch in my bank account with the church, so I didn’t get paid… so no haircut, and grocery shopping was interesting. haha. But we went to the church and played some hockey. We had a good time.
Tuesday: To be honest, it was a very normal day. We didn’t do too much. We had a couple of good member visits, and that was it.
Wednesday: Another normal day! We had lunch with two brothers in the ward, so that was fun. They took us to In-n-Out, which I am low-key getting sick of. Pretty tragic, huh? We got bashed in Arabic by our friend George, and that was so fun, lol.
Thursday: ZONE CONFERENCE! I love ZC. It was awesome. The president talked about how we need to not wish the time we have left away. And that’s exactly what I needed to hear. He is goated. It’s always fun seeing some of my old Misson buddies again. We had a good dinner provided by my favorite member, Leika! We made a bet that if BYU wins, she would give a talk, and if Utah wins, I’ll give a talk. We all know what happened. I can’t wait to hear her speak.
Friday: A goated day. Kinda. It started with interviews with the President, which went super well! I was on exchanges with Elder Midgely. He is a dawg. I love him so much. However, we spent all day doing truck work for the zone. It felt like I was in a leadership position again. It sucked lol. But we had a good time chatting. Also, November 8th is a big day for my Dad. “Happy, Happy Birthday!”
We had the highlight of the week when Bro Slowinski took us over to Kura Revolving Sushi! It’s a dang good sushi place with a revolving table, and you just take whatever sushi looks good to you! It was so lit. Fun videos in my Google Photos.
Saturday: I was so dead today. I don’t even remember too much of what happened. However, I know we had a lot of study time and also a lot of travel. We did some visiting, and that’s about it!
Sunday: A solid day. We had a good sacrament meeting, and there was a Samoan baby who was blessed, so the whole family squad pulled up, and it was lit. The place was packed, and it felt like a Utah ward. Tina and Andrea both came to church, which was awesome! Please keep them in your prayers! Karl left sacrament early to go do security work down at the Newport Beach temple. And yes, he has only been a member for about 28 days. He is “Elect”.
Well, sorry for the low-energy email! It was kinda a low-energy week. I have been trying to figure out how I can make the most of these last 8 months and put my head down and grind, but I am still trying to figure that out. I received really cool answers to my prayers these past couple of weeks, and I know it’s shocking, but I’ll be applying for BYU, and I am honestly pretty nervous! So keep ya boy in your prayers.
But I am hyped for the Temple trip next week and I hope to recieve some help there! Talk to yall on tuesday! PEACE AND LOVE!!!
