HOLY SMOKES! THIS WAS A GOOOOOD WEEK!!

I don’t have enough room to write it out every single day, but I’ll hit the highlights and expound a bit! LET’S GET ITTTT!

Okay, so this week, we were able to meet with Tina multiple times! We taught some good lessons, and the members have been great support. We know she has a struggle with the word of wisdom so we still need to teach that, but this week we taught her the gospel of Jesus Christ and she just goes, “Wait, so baptism is like starting a new life and dedicating the rest to God?” We were like… “Yeah, does that interest you?” And she goes…” Well, yeah.” So, we put her on date for November 23rd!! Let’s go00! She also came to the ward Halloween party and brought her family! So hopefully, we can start teaching all of them! And then she pulled up to church. Goat talk.

Andrea is awesome, too! We didn’t get the chance to teach her this week, but she is legit my best friend. We are always just texting, and she wants to take me to Disneyland when I get back after my mission.  haha! She is the goat.

Thursday night was leadership calls and Elder Hunsaker was called to be a district leader trainer! So he is dawgggg. Friday we spent at his meetings, which was lowkey lit! During the meetings, I got to trio up with Elder Hurst ( my trainer) and Elder Mccord ( my trainee)! It was lit. Only lasted about an hour, but we visited the best family ever, the Velasquezes! Love emmmm!

Then Friday morning, we had a cool experience and got to do a devotional call with Elder Mackay, who is a Seventy and the Church Historian! He explained a bunch of stuff about Joseph Smith and taught us a bunch of cool history about the Church. When teaching about Joseph Smith, he really emphasized how important it is to repent!! It was awesome.

On Friday, we alsooooo got to go on the recent convert temple trip with the goat Karl! It was such a cool experience. Going during the sunset was superrr sweet. I swear the spirit is stronger at the temple during a sunset fr. It was super fun, though. Karl didn’t get in the water, but he witnessed and did confirmations, which was awesome!

Saturday, I was on exchanges with Elder Connel, and I love that goon man. He is so cool. The highlight was easily the ward Halloween party! It was so cool; I’m not gonna lie. The ward LOVES USS. We went as teenage, mutant ninja turtles, and it was a lot of fun. Gotta be the judges for the Chilli cook-off too, which was super cool!

Unfortunately, Elder Hunsaker is headed off to the Spanish stake, and Elder Connel is off to Orange, so the Mag Mish is gone. Rip. Oh yeah, they didn’t tell me on leadership calls, but I’ll be training again, so I should get a new missionary coming in, so that should be really fun.

I’m starting to forget all the things we did this week, but it was just a super good week. We spent a lot of time prepping for the zone Halloween party, which is today.  So, I’ll let you know how that goes next week!

Well, I’m hyped for a new transfer, and I can’t believe I only have 6 months left. That’s nuts. I am so thankful for the chance that I’ve had to serve this great mission, and I am so happy I’ve been able to share all of these experiences with you all. This week, I learned a lot about Repentance! It seriously is the best. Elder Mackay said that when Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, they first forgave him and then explained to him the things. And, before all of his experiences, he prayed for forgiveness.  Then, he was able to witness amazing things. He then taught us that we need to repent and be clean so that we can really enhance the blessings from god!  I thought that was really cool.

I love you all and I miss you tons! Join the g photos for some great pics and videos from this week!
