Hey hey hey! We are back with another week in Socal! It was a pretty decent week, to say the least, so let’s get into it!
Monday: Lowkey, I am having a hard time remembering what we even did on Pday lol. I remember it was pretty solid, I think lol. Not sure. I just checked my journal and apparently ” today was a pretty good pday!” Lol. (I’m an idiot!)
We did a cake decorating game but the twist was that you couldn’t open your eyes when touching the cake. It was pretty hard but our district won! The zone is super unified so it’s a blast.
Tuesday: Wanna know how I started my journal lol. ” today was a good day” – Ice Cube.
Geez I am an idiot! hahaha. But good times! In 20 years or so I will be so disappointed in my maturity level. haha.
We went to lunch with Bro. Toluepe and it was fire. He is so cool. We had a good lesson with Karl and taught him about the Word of Wisdom. He seemed to chill with it, so the golden tract stays golden. haha. We had an awesome dinner with the Brunners and they fed us well!
Wednesday: Exchange day with Elder Midgley! It was so much fun. I love this elder. He makes everything just 10x better. We honestly don’t have a ton in common but we mix together so well. He is a beast and has made the zone a ton of fun.
We had a service for this non-member who reached out a while ago and it was disgusting. She needed help moving and cleaning things and who knows how she got our number. She had us pack up her bongs and that was it for me lol. We dipped like 5 minutes after lol.
We had a lesson with a guy named Jordan who was cool but he dropped us on Monday morning lol.
Thursday: Zone Conference went crazy! President went off about faith. It’s all about faith! He just made us all go back to square one and just exercise a little faith. I loved how he kept bringing up that, even if we have faith the size of a mustard seed, we can move mountains. And, and I was like “Dang”, even if I have a just a little faith, we can find everyone! So that got me hyped.
We had a great dinner with the Phillips family, who love Disney so I was talking their ear off about that.
Friday: Sad day for Elder G Griffiths. We went to help a guy move in another area and there was a ton of the zone help, there so it was fire. But, I set down my fanny pack and now its gone. It had my Camera and my wallet in there along with some more stuff. So I have been depressed about that all weekend for real. (If you would like to donate please go to the gofundme below)jk. kinda. Lol. im jk. But anyway, we went back to the old house, as well as the new house looking through all the boxes and we didn’t find it. So far, it has not been found. Looks like I got RIPPED. It is so sad.
We had a lesson with Loraine, which was good! She then dropped us tho…. She was just not coming to church so we were about to drop her anyway lol. Let the lord cook. Met with Karl and he is just golden.
. We helped out Karl with some service in the morning and that was super fun actually. He had a brand new air fryer in his storage container and he didn’t even know it was in there. He then gave it to me. I was so hyped haha!
We got to go to the adult session of the stake confernce and it was legendary. Pres and Sis Galotera came and spoke, and so did Elder T,readway from the 70. He went off too. He knows President and sister Rich too, so we talked about them for a while!
Sunday: Stake confernce in the morning was pretty solid. We then went to a baptism for some of the elders who share a ward with us. We took off after the baptism to go look for my fanny pack and no luck. RIP!
We had dinner with the Coopers and ended the night doing social media!
Yo, this week was crazy and definetly hard after losing all of my stuff for sure. But it honestly has reminded me so much about happiness and where do I find my happiness? I constantly had Mosiah 2:41 in my head all week reminding myself that all I need to do is keep the commandments of God and I will be blessed in all things. And that has been helping me a ton in all areas of my life right now.
