Welcome back to the weekly rundown of the present life of Elder Griffiths! This week was pretty trash, I’m not going to lie to you all. However, I have trust that all things will go up from here!

Going to do just highlights and low-lights of the week instead of a day by day account. Today, I don’t have much time! Sorry!

– Pday was honestly horrible lol. We didn’t do, like anything and I was just sad all day. haha.

– While working after pday ended, something crazy happened! We were driving down beach blvd and we saw the car in front of us, going 45 mph, hit a homeless dude! We pulled over and went to help the guy and luckily people got to him before we did. He didn’t die but was pretty hurt. It was just insane!  The cops interviewed us because we saw the accident happen.

– I had Pho for the first time!

– Had a great lesson with our friend Andrea! She is seriously so amazing! We taught her the gospel of Jesus Christ and she wants to be baptized! She is living in Lake Forest but wants to be baptized up here, but its complicated with our Mission President and the rules. Hopefully she can be baptized here!

– Karl is still a beast! We met with him a couple times and he came to a baptism for some other Elders. We are working through some of his concerns. We are hoping to put him on date soon!

– Elder Saxton had his birthday! Got some fire Mexican food again. haha!

– I had an upset stomach all week so I was lowkey sick, but I got though it.

– I got called to train a new missionary again!

– Transfer news came and Elder Saxton is leaving the area and I am staying here in Magnolia!

– Karl and Andrea both came to church this week! Yea!

– Went on exchanges with Elder Reeder for the last time. I just love him so much.

Honestly that’s all I can really put my mind to at this time. This was a rough week and a rough day but I know that although I am going though hard times I will always have someone to be there for me. I love Jesus.

I was able to watch a ton of video in my free time this week and I watched a lot about Joseph Smith. Now I know why my good friend Luke Rich loves him so much. haha!  I have gained a lot of love and respect for him and its awesome to know God calls prophets on the earth for us to help lead us and guide us!

Love you all so much! See you next week with my new trainee!  Fingers crossed.
