What’s up, everyone? Welcome to another week of these emails lol. Kinda crazy I’ve been writing an email every week for a whole year. One year ago this time I was at the MTC getting ready to come out on this great mission. Time is complex and I can’t tell if it’s flying by, or taking wayyyy too long! But, another week down and it was a good one so let’s get itttt!

Monday: last week took an L but this week we bounce back. This was a goated PDAY! Our Mish President gave us the green light to go to downtown Disney as a district! So, the District Leader got it all figured out and we pulled up and I finally for the first time in my mission felt like a normal person. We got to go to a bunch of shops and get treats and gosh, it was soooo fun! We have such a legendary district RN too,  so it was a good time. I’ll drop some pics.

Tuesday: It makes sense to have a terrible day after having a great one. So Tuesday sucked. We had our weekly planning and man I was depressed. Just felt sick and I was not motivated. But it’s not my work so we got after it anyway. After a couple of hours of visits, we needed an emergency Jamba Juice break so that was lit. I love Jamba Juice.

Wednesday: Valid day! In the morning we had zone council. It was great. They asked me to be the Social Media rep. SMH. I hate social media work lol. So I had to give training and luckily Elder Evans trained me on “All I Needed To Do” and so it was just goofy. We then had exchanges with our ZLs and I was with Elder Midgely. He is a DAWG!! I love him so much. We had a great time and I love that he isn’t like every other ZL in this mission (except a few ) who is a complete clanker. He gonna change the mission for sure. We found a couple of people to start teaching and that was good. Elder Midgely has also introduced a lit game to the zone. It’s called Lorcana. It’s a Disney card game and we are all hooked. I haven’t nerded out like this in a long time.  It’s so fun though haha.

Thursday: We had to go all the way up to Fullerton for a service project at Recovery Road for a couple of hours so that was lit. We had a great lesson that night with our friends Josh and Cheyanne. They seem pretty interested but are in a difficult situation with money and stuff. Keep them in your prayers.

Friday: Exchanges with district Reeder went crazy! In the morning the whole district went and helped the Hermanas move apartments because they had Maggots. Rip. So we all just cranked out the move and it was a good time. After we got Popeyes that wrecked my stomach. However, the work moves on lol. We had a good time chatting all day and we got into some DEEP talks. Lowkey my fav part of missions is just getting into deep convos with Elders. It’s so fun. We had a member dinner that was pretty fire as well.

Saturday: We were asked to take our car in for an oil change and they were short-staffed so it took 3 hours. Rip. We had some other elders pick us up and we all just did lunch and social media together as we waited for our car. We then just had a normal day of visits. As Elder Saxton and I were in a parking lot contacting, we talked to this lady for an hour and she seemed to be pretty interested and then she just dipped. We got no number, address, or anything and that really got us down. So we went to a member’s house to lift our spirits.

Sunday: Valid day. We share a ward with 2 other elders.   Elder Midgley and I are new elders in the ward, and they asked us to speak. We lowkey killed it. (I think. Elder Midgley’s talk was fire and the spirit was definitely present. Don’t think mine was as good as Midgley’s but people said they felt the spirit which is all I need, I guess, haha. We had some good times visiting members and stuff for the rest of the day.

This week was just very interesting. It was fast and long at the same time. I really tried to focus my studies and thoughts on the Savior this week. It was actually really cool. As I made this goal, this week I was thinking about things. I know I shouldn’t be thinking about other things because the adversary doesn’t want me to focus on the Savior. Replacing those thoughts is crucial. And the Savior is a perfect way to do that.

I love you all!

Also, I lost the game this week
