So this week I got chastised by Tabitha Del Bello for having boring emails!?!? So, I guess will make this way more lit!!! And boy, this week was a journey so it should be an exciting post!!! Sneak peeks – back in the ” Blessed Anaheim ward”
– E.Rosie exchange (Wise Elder fr)
– ELDER SAUNDERS EXCHANGE
– Got Tased

LETS HOP INTO IT!!!

Monday: Pday was pretty valid! As Zone Leaders we usually have a lot of chores to do. Like,  grab packages in Santa Ana, give rides, doctor’s stuff, and more! Butttt this week we had nothing! So we spent the whole morning doing absolutely nothing. It was awesome! We then had our pday activity and it was a blast! We did a big water balloon fight at the church. We filled up a couple big trash cans with water balloons and just went crazy! We all were drenched by the end. It was a movie!

Tuesday: Exchange with Elder Rosenhan! He is an old missionary who is a beast! He is from West Jordan and man, I love him. He taught me a lot of how missionary work can be fun and a grind. He is a good finder and can talk to everyone so easily! Love him to death. We drove some Elders to the mission office and it was a lot of fun chatting with them as we drove past Disneyland!

We had some good lessons and one with our friend, Chris! We taught him about the Book of Mormon and it was valid! Had some good pillow talk and then the next day appeared….

Wednesday: WE ARE BACK IN BLESSED ANAHEIMMMM! ( West Anaheim) WITH THE GOAT HIMSELF –  ELDER EVANS!! Elder Evans is still in my old area and it was a blast being back with him in the area. We started off just catching up talking about the area and how each other is doing! We got to go to lunch with the goat bro Miller and Trent Lebaron. We went back to the Asia buffet! We then had some good visits with some members.

We visited the Vasconcellos family and it was a lot of fun. That’s where Tabatha del Bello chastised me… messed up dude.  We played with the kids for a bit and they wanted to dress me and Elder Evans up! I’ll drop some pictures. We had our “Come follow Me” and then went to the Rodriguez family! They are awesome! Izzy got a taser while in Utah and she wanted to try it out so Elder Evans and I then got tased!!! If you want the video email me!! It was so funny.

Thursday: pretty chill day! Elder Connel and I were back together finally, and we just did some normal missionary work, which was great! Had a couple lessons!

I also hit my 10 month mark as a missionary!! LET’S GOOO!! We did a nasty service project for a dude in our ward and man, I cannot stand hoarders… so gross man. I hope to never be like that!

We had a fantastic dinner with the Ramirez family and it was sooo good! We had some Enchiladas and I was dying. They were goated. Elder Connel is a garbage disposal! He ate 11!!! So crazy.

Friday: A very interesting day…. We visited a dude in the morning who was wack. He said he wanted to show us this video/movie clip of some Viking movie and it definitely was not approved for missionary work. It was scary lol.

We had our follow up zone conference and it was pretty good! President Galotera leaked when the second coming was happening so that was fire ! After we had some good old Southern California traffic that took forever. We went to a couple lessons and ended the night like that! We did a night exchange. Let’s go to Saturday!

Saturday: Elder Saunders and I stayed up until 1:30 am playing chess and just talking each others ear off! We had a great time just ranting to each other about everything. gtg! He is definitely a life long friend. Love him. We had a good day but man we were tired. We had some bike issues so we were on foot and we probably walked around 8-10 miles. It was crazy. It’s so funny how that’s normal in other missions lol. I missed my rav 4. We had some goated lessons and a funny thing happened.

As we walked out of a lesson with a lady and there was a party next door for a kid’s bday party. Some guy yells “Yall want some water?” After getting done walking miles and miles in the SoCal heat we were like, “Yes pleaseee!”The dude was so cool and apparently sat by a member of our church at the dodgers game the night before! He said they had some good conversations and he wanted to drive us to our next place! The dudes name is Steve and we had a fun drive. He was so outgoing and so nice. The rest of the day was just chill but man I loved that exchange with him.

Sunday: Very normal Sunday! We had a good church service and our friend Jonathan was there! He is a beast! He is what they call a permanent investigator. Has been coming to church for over a year and just wont commit to baptism. He is so cool though. We hope to get him dunked one day.

Patience is a virtue. We had to plan our zone council at night and we met up with Elder Evans and Elder Nelson for that, so it was fun!

Well, I hope this week was a better email but let me tell you, I cannot put this much effort again haha! This got me exhausted. lol

Spiritual thought:
Recently, time has been moving slow for me. And it’s been getting on my mind a lot recently. Something that I have been told by some missionaries and friends is, to put your trust in God. That he will be able to help every situation you have. And, with all of our trials he will take care of them. He is the one who ultimately will determine everything. So if we trust him he will bless us for it.

Love you all so much!

Elder Lando
