Hey everyone!! This email is going to be a bit different from my last emails! I feel like I haven’t given a good rundown on how the work is going out here! I am new to the area so I’m trying to figure stuff out, but man the work is going really good!

We have been working with some people who have some really good potential!

Jonathan: This guy is a permanent investigator! He has been coming to church for a long time, about a year, and he is hesitant to be baptized because he was baptized as a kid in another church and doesn’t feel the need to get baptized again. Our last lesson we had a member come with us and we weren’t going to talk about baptism yet. But the member felt the spirit so strong and really committed him to pray about baptism. So, fingers crossed!!

Julie: Julie came to our ward party and she is very interested in the Book of Mormon and has been reading it! So she could be good!

Chris: He has some health problems but wants to grow closer to God. He doesn’t have a car but he wanted to come to church. One of our youth said he would go down and pick him up! So Chris came to church!! He has great potential so hopefully we will talk about baptism this week!

Part member families galore: we are teaching a bunch of part member families right now and they are so fun! We are hoping to get them to church cause that’s been a struggle for these families. We just got news that there is a family who wants the kids and grandma to be baptized SOOO BAD!

Part member families are so hard to get lessons, with but if we succeed, it’s going to be golden!

Family find : Sunday afternoon Elder Connel and I were doing some good ole visits. And we visited a lot of folks neither of us knew. We talked to a lady (Rosa ) and she asked, “Do you want to come in and share a message with me and my family?” And I kid you not, I said ” Wait? Really” and she laughed and said, yes please come in! So we taught the kids how to pray and it was just such a cool moment! They are always busy so we set up a time to meet next Sunday at the same time! But the kids,(Valory, Christian, and Ivan) were homies! They seemed really into it, so that’s super cool!

Mission life:  I’m having a good time, but man, sometimes it’s a grind. Yet, I can’t believe its almost summer and that that graduation from High School was just a year ago! It makes me get throwbacks to the prime days in the month of May and June of last year.

Also, I feel  that I’m so out of the loop, and I want to know  about everyone’s mission calls and their friends calls too! I’m so curious!

Sunday: This week I gave a talk in church and it was really fun, actually! I had the whole congregation, of not very many people, cracking up. haha. Trust me, I say anything very funny but they must’ve not had anything funny spoken from the pulpit in a long time. My talk was based around a conference talk “Integrity: A Christlike Attribute” from last conference, by Jack N. Gerard. I said, I’d like you all to think of the question, “What do I do when I think no one else is watching?”

Love you all so much and miss you even more! See you soon!
