I have no clue what this week even was so I’m legit going to just talk about the things I remember off the top of my head lol.
So, laughter is the best medicine for sure. And, I am lucky to have a goofy companion who is always making jokes. We will be so dead tired and not motivated at all then, he will crack a joke and make us get so hyped for the next visit. It’s hilarious.
We have a member in our ward who is a total “Goober”. haha. He is a mission wide legend who is so weird that you must visit him. This week we visited him twice and man he gets stranger and stranger every time we go over. haha. He asks us to subscribe to his youtube channel every time we go over. His youtube is: “Joel Organ and Piano Solos” EVERYONE PLEASE GO SUBSCRIBE TO HIM!! It would make him sooo happy. And plus, he is actually really good at the piano and organ. You just have to meet him to enjoy his funny personality.
I went on exchanges with my ZL Elder Lenker this week! He is a dawg for sure. He was trained in the area that I am serving in. It was cool to have him serve here in the past and lead the day in his old area and reunite with some old members! We saw a lot of miracles that day and it was a fun time.
On Wednesday, we had zone conference!!! The “Highlight” of the week for sure! It was insane. Our area 70 came, and man, he speaks with the spirit. He gave an amazing training on our “agency” and how we need to use it and why we were given it in the first place.
On Friday, I went to the doctors office and got an MRI on my elbow. MRI’s are so fun, ha ah. I was definitely claustrophobic but Ferda. My elbow is all good for those who don’t know haha. Nothing to worry about at all.
We saw this super dope event going on at the college campus in our area with a ton of shops. We thought it would be a good idea to go and check it out to see if there were any good people to talk to. We realized its a Mexican pop up. It is an event they do every Saturday and Elder and I Evans were the only white people we saw there haha! We bought these clean shirts tho! Bugs Bunny!
This week was good and I am loving my comp and my ward here in SoCal! I know blessings come from doing the small and simple things. I have been really thinking about my whole Mission so far and how the last 8 months have changed me. And it’s been the small things that has changed me the most. Daily prayer, daily scripture study, cleaner thoughts, waking up at 6:30, and all the other small things matter so much!! I encourage everyone to start doing a small thing you know you should be doing. Shout out my guy Ashton for following my last invitation to e-mail me! Love you bro!!
Have a good week everyone and please email me on Pdays!!! @Landon Griffiths
