Yo! Welcome back to another week in the life of Elder Griffiths. This episode is pretty feugo so let’s get into it. ( Please email me I’m so bored)

Monday: pretty good day. Pday activity was fun! We have such a massive Zone it is crazy. We played a couple of fun games with everyone and got to know people! We went over to the Cerritos mall and man it is huge! We went to Lulu’s and I replaced my pants and new ones are on the way.  (Shoutout Lulu plz sponsor me!)

We had our Zone devotional that night and it was really fun! But before we had a lesson with Michael he figured out some information for us and we set his baptism date for May 18th! Let’s go!!!

Tuesday:  Nothing too exciting happened beside when we were about to end the night of tracting we came across this girl named Maria. We asked if she wanted to hear a message about Jesus Christ she just said, ” Yes.” It caught me so off guard and we shared a short message and left! (Remember Maria for later)

Wednesday: We had zone council and it was a blast. We have a massive zone so my district that I cover is bigger than I have ever had before! So it’s been fun to get to know my district better as well! Bro Miller took us out to the Asian buffet for dinner and it was so good! Email me back for a vid of me and Elder Evans eating squid!! It was very good an unlimited sushi went crazy! Sorry elder sharp lol.

Thursday:  We got to go to Anaheim and help out with the Salvation Army service and it was pretty fun. We just put together food orders. In the end, they had extra milk so they had us go outside and yell at cars and give away free milk. It was so funny. After we hit Joe’s Italian Ice on the way back and man it’s bussin stuff.

Friday: We went over to a family’s house and played Jenga with them and it was a ton of fun. We related the jenga to the restoration and it was a blast of an object lesson. Definitely recommend for my fellow missionaries out there!

Saturday: GOATED DAY HOLLYYYYY!!! We had our day planned before it even started it was so great. Lessons on lessons and service galore! We started with some morning sports with the zone and played some bball it was a ton of fun. We came back and had a lesson with Tony and it was okay but we aren’t sure how accountable he is.

We then went to Marias ( Remember her???) and had a fire lesson! We taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ lesson and we put her on date for baptism!! May 11th! It was so crazy and cool at the same time.

We went and did a service for an older couple in the ward and that was a blast for sure. He is really old so we were our ” Manager” and he told us what to do but kept contradicting what he was saying it was so funny. We then got asked to go to a family and help them set up a ring doorbell and we thought it was going to be so easy but man, we were mistaken. We put a couple of holes in the wall after like 2 hours of work and we ended up just ordering a separate attachment for the door lol. Ended with a lesson with Michael and it was awesome! Had a member come and help and he was super clutch.

Sunday: Church was fire as usual.  Every Sunday we go to a lady named Barbara Bell and read the Book of Mormon with her. She lived in an assisted living place. She is really old and not quite there yet. After we read we asked if we could do anything for her. She asked to say a prayer for her back. So as I was saying a prayer and blessing her back, she said ” Don’t forget to bless my back Mormon boy” and I nearly lost itttttt! I was trying too hard not to laugh.

We have another member who lives there and she has some really short memory loss. She asked me to check this room to see if it was the kitchen. I looked and it was just another hospital room. About 2 minutes later she asks the same question. I go check again and behold it’s still another hospital room. Then like 30 seconds later, she tells me to check again!! You will never believe what though… It was still another hospital room haha. I love old people.

This week was awesome and I am really enjoying it here! Elder Evans asked me, probably close to 200 times, ” Hey do you know this song” and then proceeded to sing it for me haha. It’s so funny!

Hope you all have a great week and hey.. GO TO THE TEMPLE THIS WEEK!!! EVEN IF IT’S JUST THE TEMPLE GROUNDS!!!
