Another week down and let’s keep it real again this week
These weeks just keep getting longer and longer and I don’t know what’s up! This is the last week of this transfer and man, it has been a long one! But I’m excited to see what happens this upcoming Wednesday when we get transfer news.
This week was Easter and man, it was great to be about focusing completely on the Savior and his last week here on earth. I learned so much about his mortal ministry and what he did in his last week. There was a great talk in sacrament by our elder quorum president. He was talking and something that stuck out to me was how he said, “Jesus Christ was the most consistent person to ever exist.” He was saying how regardless of the circumstances during his last week, He still loved, served, and cared for everyone. That struck me.
We had a cool experience this week with our friend Tony. We tracted into him about 3-4 weeks ago and we never got in contact with him. We stopped by earlier in the week and he said to come by Saturday at 10:30. We came by Saturday morning as it dumped rain and shared the restoration with him. The spirit was so strong and I was able to teach the Restoration in a way I never have before. It was really cool to have the spirit take over the discussion and teach him according to his knowledge and understanding. Hopefully, we will continue to teach him!
This week I have been studying the life of Joseph Smith. As I am going through a hard time I like to compare myself to others going through hardships and learn from them. And Joseph lived one of the hardest lives ever. Something I have learned is how important it is to do the Lord’s will no matter what. Even if it’s not beneficial to you, or you might not know why it’s happening. So for everyone going through a tough patch in life, ask the Lord what to do next. He will let us know what we need to do in all things.
Love you all and have a great week!
