Yo! Yo! Yo! What’s going on everyone!! Hope everyone is doing well! Going to keep this message short cause I am low on time but I’ll try and be better for y’all next time, for sure!

This week was a pretty generic week in the California Anaheim Mission! We didn’t have too much stuff happen but we still had some experiences.

Let’s take a second and keep it 100% honest here. This last month or so has easily been one of, if not the hardest months of my life. Missions are so difficult. I will always recommend a mission to anyone considering it. But man, be ready for some trials. I have found that we really have to try and look at the small and simple things to find joy and happiness. Without my mission I don’t know what I would be doing with my life but, I know I would not be as close to the Savior as I am right now.

Sunday was a cool day, so I can talk about Sunday to help lift the spirits. On Sunday I gave a talk in church and I thought it went really well. As Elder Paget and I were welcoming people, in came President and Sister Galotera! I was like, “Oh boy what did we do wrong.” It ended up that they just happened to pick our ward for this week and, of course, it had to be the Sunday I was talking. So that was funny.

Later on, Sunday afternoon, as we were doing visits I got a prompting to talk to this one guy that I barely caught a glimpse of him. I totally denied the spirit and was like, “Nah, he is too far away now.” The spirit was like, “Are you for real? Are you going to deny this prompting?” When I tell you I heard the spirit, I heard it. I slam on the brakes and turn around to go back. The guy wasn’t a super golden contact but I could feel the spirit talk to me, which was just a cool thing in and of itself!

Well, that’s all I got in the tank for this week,

Elder L. Griffiths
