Monday: Pretty average Pday to be honest. The first one was with the new zone so that was different for sure. Played a card game called Missionary Impossible at the ZLs apt and that was pretty fun!
Tuesday: Pretty chill day that flew by! We had a great lesson with our new friend Robert who is really solid! Came back to the apartment and I got my Gordon Ramsay back on. Our complex has grills so I just meal-prepped a ton of chicken that has been super clutch this last week. haha!
Wednesday: We had our zone conference and it was so good! Zone conference is such a good time when half the Mission gets together and we get to hear training from our President and his wife and the AP’s. We learned a lot about the power of the Book of Mormon which is so valid. ALSOOOOO BG GOT ENGAGEDDDD. LET’S GOOOOO!!!! She was so surprised! I was able to call home for about 5 minutes and congratulate him on his engagement as well as my new soon-to-be sister Quincy. Super happy for them!
Thursday: In the morning we got to help the other side of the mission do car inspections during their zone conference and that low-key took forever.
The rest of the day I had zero motivation to work and wanted to take the fattest nap ever. “But, ya boy, Ya got to work”. And, we had some good lessons!
Friday: Friday was eh. Started off amazing then ended pretty mid. The DLs got invited to go to MLC ( Mission Leadership Council) and I was pretty nervous cause I thought we were about to get Chastised so hard but it was so fire. Elder Ojediran from the Seventies came!! It was so gas and he gave such a good training session on Integrity and Dignity. It was so cool to talk to him after and get some of his insights!
Saturday: I was on exchanges with my ZL Elder Connell and it was sooooo crazy! It was my first day having to bike in the rain and it was terrible!!! The rain makes everything so much worse it’s just bad news all around. We had some really cool experiences and one of which was pretty funny. We were biking in the rain back to the APT and we saw this man who was so chill walking down the road. I stopped and we started talking to him. We chatted for a while and he is a pro slap boxer haha! He showed us how to properly slap someone and he actually seemed interested in learning about the Gospel haha!
Sunday: Sundays are always good days. I love being able to go to church and partake of the sacrament and really get to feel the spirit. I now regret all the time going to church and either playing Clash of Clans or checking my fantasy football teams during sacrament when I could’ve been gaining so much revelation! Stupid me. Anyway, love and learn. The rest of the day just had some chill visits and a couple come follow me lessons.
Just to end I just want to tell y’all about something great! I have been reading the Book of Mormon every day for the past 6ish months and I can say it changes lives. As I was reading about Captain Moroni I really could just feel the spirit so strong and I know the book is so so true!
Well, I love y’all so much and miss y’all even more! Please email me on Pdays. I get so bored and I would love to hear how everyone is doing and a quick update on life!
Peace and love
