Well, this week was a very very humbling experience for me haha! So, I am very tired and so glad that it is finally P-day because this week was just sooo long! Today I’m going to switch it up from the traditional format
In southern California, they are not built to have extreme rain. They did have some crazy rain to start the week! Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were dumping rain non-stop and the roads were all flooded. On Tuesday we were not able to leave the apartments until 5 pm because of the crazy weather. So that was such a long boring day at the apartment doing about 100000 phone calls haha!
A little update on Noe. It has been 12 days since we last talked to him. He is scheduled to be baptized on the Sunday the18th. Well, let’s say he won’t make that baptism date anymore:( So because of that, this week has been a tough one because he really is so ready for this gospel but just has some things that are holding him back I guess. So everyone keep him in your prayers that he may contact us back so we can figure things out!
On the brighter side of things, we have a new friend named Dede! She is so awesome. She is 26 years old and has loved everything we have taught her so far. She came to church yesterday and loved it! We will meet with her again this next week and talk a little bit more.
It is so crazy that I hit my 6-month mark on Wednesday this upcoming week! I can tell you all that the last 6 months have been the hardest 6 months of my life but I have seen so so many blessings that have come from it. I have met some of my favorite people and have made some really awesome relationships. I can’t wait to have another 18 months to accomplish this great work and grow to be the person I would like to become.
I love you all so much and just want to tell y’all about some cool personal studies I have had this week! I have been diving deep into my patriarchal blessing. And it is seriously just like scripture but personalized! I have found so many amazing things in my blessing that I have never seen before. I just want to encourage all of you to either get out your patriarchal blessing and read it, or go and get your patriarchal blessing! It is seriously life-changing. I promise!
Hope you all had a fantastic week this week and hope you notice the Lord’s hand in yawls life. Trust me, He is there you just have to look for him!
