What’s up my peeps! Hope ya’ll had a great week! Lowkey tired so I’mma going to make this one short and sweet!!
Monday: Honestly kind of a mid Pday. I just felt off all day and couldn’t find my groove. However, we had a really good zone devotional and it was awesome!
Tuesday: Had a lot of service in the morning with the Santiago Creek Elders. Went and munched on some Cafe Rio and it was gas as usual! We then had elder McCord 6 week follow up and it was valid I guess. We had a member dinner and before hand they asked if we liked salmon. And if you know me I’m not a huge fan of fish. But, Elder McCord loves salmon. I felt the need to get out of my comfort zone at least once when it came to food on the mission. Let me tell you SALMON IS GASSSS!
Wednesday: We had a super fire comp study period in the morning that just started a super spiritual day! We did some service with the ZL’s while our car was getting an oil change. And, we had a member dinner with the Tanners. They are the best! They remind me of a Utah family for sure. They have a son who is a Freshman and a daughter who is a Junior and they reminded me of the same relationship I have with my sister back home! It’s so fun! Miss you JoJo!
Thursday: Today we had zone conference! We were able to hear from Prezzy Galotera and his hilarious wife. They talked a lot about member work and how we can get the members more involved into missionary work. It was awesome!
We had another member dinner with the Redford family, and it’s always a good time with them. I had a prompting to go and visit Alma on the way home and we did and it was a shock. She was home and we talked for a good long time but nothing has changed. She is still fighting this war with witchcraft or something I guess. Kinda a crazy lady. haha.
Friday: We had 3 lessons cancel so that kinda sucked! We had a lesson with a man who turned out to be a member but all of his records have been lost. However, we found them in the Spanish ward. haha! He is cool and he insisted that we got some pictures so we had a lil photo shoot! We had ANOTHER MEMBER DINNER with sister Shores and it was so lit!
Saturday: DUMPING RAIN DAY!!! We did some tracting and we got nailed with rain and it was the biggest basher I have ever seen. At one home we got ripped out of our minds because in case ya’ll didn’t know, the “Mormons don’t believe in the trinity”. The guy mentioned that about 7 times. I wanted to go back to my prime of when I’d argue sports with my boys back home. But, I know he couldn’t hang with me so we just dipped. lol. We attended adult session of Stake Conference and it was so valid!
Sunday: Started off with stake conference and it was good! We had Elder Parks from the 70s presiding, and he gave a fire talk! It really made me realize that God is calling men to lead us on this earth! We did some visits and ended with my highlight of the week!!!
We haven’t been able to contact Noe for about a week and a half! So sad. Sister Roberts had us over for dinner and she felt prompted to call Noe. So, we gave her Noe’s number and she gave Noe a call. He answered and he said yes to dinner! We all got to see Noe for the first time in week and it was so good to see him again!
I know that the Lord’s works through all of us. And, we members of the Church have so much potential to spread the gospel, so do it! EVERYONE PLEASE FIND A TIME TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST THIS WEEK!
