Sup everyone!! This email is not going to be like my others just because I wanted to mix it up a little bit right before the new year!

I will talk about Christmas tho! Christmas was actually so cool! I was very nervous for this time of year to come around because I knew I was going to get homesick. I love nothing more than getting a Swig hot chocolate with Momma Lisa and watching a Hallmark movie. Seriously, heaven on earth.

We got extremely spoiled out here in Cali! We had lunch with the Rivas and the Smith families and we got LOADED with stuff! I was trying to not get emotional because of how grateful I was for their kindness!

We then went to the goated family, the Lockingtons, a Poly family who loveeeee food! Since we had a big lunch at the Smiths, we were already full. However, the Polys love to eat! And they love making their guests eat twice as much. Elder McCord and I were struggling to put down some of their food. Let’s just say Elder McCord had a nice visit to the restroom mid-meal and made some more room if you know what I am saying lol. We got to end the evening talking to family and opening gifts with them, which was just so fun! Definitely wanted to be there with them. It’s fun to experience new things!

The workweek was actually boring haha. We didn’t do much of anything because of Christmas so that’s mainly why I wanted to switch this post up a bit. lol.

To me, 2023 has been my favorite year of my life. It has definitely had its ups and downs but that’s what has made it so much fun! From NBA All-Star Weekend to graduation, to Cancun with the boys, to being called to serve the greatest work in the world. This year has just been amazing! I have seriously met some of the best people in my life this last year and have grown closer to those I was already close with.

To all reading this email, “Thank You!” for being there for me in all ways! This year I have felt so much support from all my amazing friends and family. A year where I definitely needed it. The mission has really put into perspective how blessed I am in this world. I often think back to my life before the mission and realize how blessed I was. I have grown such a strong testimony in the Plan of Salvation. I know for a fact that I was placed in American Fork Utah in the Orchard Hills ward with the family and friends that I have for a reason.

I know that God has a Plan for me and he has a Plan for you. God has placed some amazing miracles in my life and some are easier to tell about than others. I know God is doing the same for us all. We simply just need to open our spiritual eyes and look for them. God shows himself in all things. Because he created all things.

With this time of year, it is resolution time. I don’t know about you all, I suck at New Year’s goals. I always fail. But, this year I am taking another approach that I have never taken before. And, I challenge you all to take the same approach I am taking. This year I will not be trying these goals on my own. I am going to be making a strong effort to ask God and Jesus Christ for help.
New Year’s goals are so so hard. And, I have always tried to do them by myself, but this year I will be relying on our Heavenly Father and the Lord and Savior for help. Because I know they will help me with my goals!

And I challenge you all to do the same! And I PROMISE!!!! He will help you too! You just need to ask with faith that Jesus Christ will help you too! 🙂

I love you all so much! Have a great new year and a great week! I miss you all so much! Feel free to send ya boy an email! I’d love to hear how everyone is doing! Love yall
