If you know who this is from, I love you so much.
Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope you all are having a great Christmas day with your loved ones and family! Because it’s Christmas this is going to be short and sweet so ya’ll can get get back to family time!
Monday: Pday was pretty chill. I needed a relaxing Pday because I was so tired, so it was good! We had a member meal with the Tanners and they are awesome.
Tuesday: Nothing crazy, just a lot of visits and a great member meal with the Velazquez family. Also, we had a great lesson with Noe!
Wednesday: Exchange day with Elder Richins. He is very…. let’s just leave it at that. Love him to death because, he’s is so dang funny. He says the most outlandish things. We did a lot of service and chilled.
Thursday: Awesome day! We got to go to a concert as a Mission Group! It was a program by Violinist Jenny Oaks Baker. (She is the daughter of Elder Dallin H. Oaks.) That’s who we saw. I was blown away how good it was. Got to see a lot of good friends from the mission so that was good!
Friday: A pretty solid day! We had a Christmas devotional for our zone conference and it was excellent! It was very entertaining and the Spirit was strong.
Saturday: Goated day! I was on exchanges with my ZL Elder Turpin. He is one transfer older than me and he is so dope. We get along super good and he is definitely going to be a great friend after the mission. We may or may not have had a fire pillow talk til like 2:30 but hey that’s a maybe.
Sunday: It was one of the best sacrament meetings ever. The spirit was so strong and the musical talent down here is insane. The talks were really good and we had a packed house.
We had some amazing members have us over for dinners, deserts, lessons, etc. I love this ward with my whole heart. The Davis family had us for dinner and it was so fun. We had some gas food and the kids put on a fun nativity program. We played a couple rounds of the “Name Game” and I was cooking it. Mrs. Claus and Frosty the snowman were great picks.
Monday: Well today is Christmas and man it’s super weird as a missionary. I am homesick and Christmas is not at the same time. However, I’ve loved seeing all the different decorations and traditions of the people down here, but man I miss some of the old ones.
But, the one thing that has stayed the same is the reason for Christmas. Without Jesus Christ none of this would happen. I challenge you all to take time and dedicate the day to Jesus Christ and his birth. I love the Christ Child video. I recommend you all watch it.
Have a Merry, Merry Christmas everyone!!! Love and miss you all like CRAZY!

P.S. I had a wonderful call with my family, who were opening gifts at the time as my call. (So, I opened my gifts at the same time.) We were late getting started (7:30 p.m. ) because my Mom had to work at the hospital and she didn’t get home until after 7:00 p.m. It was strange to open gifts together even though we were hundreds of miles away from each other. It was a great Christmas and I got a lot of neat things. Thanks Fam. I love you the most.
