What’s goodie, everyone!!! Hope you all had a blessed Thanksgiving week and a good time whatever ya’ll did! This week was lowkey kinda bummy, but I’ll try and stay as positive as I can. haha!
Monday: Not a whole lot happened. Went to Target and I copped a fire Mickey Mouse Christmas crewneck and it’s my go-to PJ hoodie for the next month or so. Also got a fire package from Momma Lisa and it was packed with some great goodies!
Tuesday: Busy day! We had a lesson with Alma and it was good. Then we did weekly planning and got right into the day. We had a dinner with the Frutos family. They are awesome. He is super spiritual and has some awesome mission stories to share. We had a fire lesson with Noe at the church with a ward member attending and it went super solid.
Wednesday: This is where the week went downhill tbh. We had a follow-up zone council and it was actually pretty good. After, we just had a horrible night of visits cause we were both so tired and wanted to be home for the holiday. lol.
Thursday: Started Thanksgiving off with a major L. Remember the story about the house with 23 cats? Well, the people are moving. Well, we had a service with them. I was feeling both homesick and actually sick because of that house. When we went back to our apartment I was able to call the Fam!! Got to talk to my Dad’s side of the family, which was so awesome!!! I miss them so much and they looked like they were having an amazing dinner.
We went to a member’s house for dinner and it was really good. They had some of the driest turkey I’ve ever had, but like it’s all G. We were super grateful we had a place to go! Then we stopped by another fam who invited us to come over for dessert. Sounds like a great day but man I was really just shlumped. I’m NGL.
Friday: Eleanor is moving 🙁 Kinda sad but it’s alright. Long story short, she doesn’t know where she is moving to either. And, we haven’t been able to get in contact with her since she moved. Then we just did a whole lotta contacts.
We found a couple of people so that was good. This lady named Barbara was just smoking and I was like, let’s talk with her. She was soooo funny. We were just talking about religion and we agreed on something, I can’t remember what and she just goes, “Well shoot… I’m Mormon too ” That made me smile.
Saturday: We had another meeting with Cat Lady and I was sick again, so that sucked. I think I actually might be allergic. Then we just did a tonnnnn of visits. Kinda a horrible day. haha. Then we had a member dinner with the Johnstons again. Remember the girl who fell off the table? She is now in her own chair strapped down by a rope! Then we had just some more mid-visits.
Sunday: Actually a good day finally. Alma and Noe both came to church!!! THANK GOODNESS ALMA CAME! She was making me so mad that she kept flaking out. Well, they both came and both loved it! Then we had some visits and we stopped by an inactive member’s home and they had us join in for dinner. They were all like drinking and we just were chillin’ munching on the Ribs haha! It was really weird. haha. Then we stopped by President Acosta’s house. He is the Second Councilor in the Mission presidency. He and his family are awesome. We had a good time chillin’ there and talking.
Well, that’s all for this week! Kinda of a rough week but hey, transfers are this week! Hoping something changes up for me or I’mma lose my mind. haha! Have a great week everyone!! Love and miss you all, more than you guys know!
