MI FAMILIAAAAA whats up everyone? I hope you all had a stellar week! TBH mine was a bit dry and I apologize in advance to the lack of entertainment in this email and the huge lack of pictures haha. My baddddd.
Monday: We played volleyball at the church and that’s legit about it. Stopped at a new members house who moved in this last week and they had Monday night football on so you know where most my attention was haha. Man I miss the NFL.
Tuesday: Started with some service for a family in our stake who moved. Pretty light service cause we legit had everyone there so lots of hands makes light work! Then had a 6 week follow up meeting with all the missionaries that came out with me! So i got to see some of my favorite people like my main guy Elder Smart and Sister Lebaron! Then had a very spiritual bible study and it was a lot of fun!
Wednesday: I got to finally drive a car and holy it felt so good. Lowkey driving like a little Melvin out here cause its been so long since I drove. It’s SoCal so there are a lot of crazy drivers I was trippin a li’l. No surprise I passed because the test had nothing to do with drifting in a parking lot with snow! IFKYK lol.,We had zone council and that was really good. It’s always a blast getting together with the zone.
Thursday: Exchange day with Elder Moffett! Pretty solid day I guess haha. Not to much happened. We did a chill service project for our 2nd councilor and we just set up a haunted house for an elementary school. Later, we had dinner with our ward mission leader and it was so chill. He just walked us over to In and Out Burger and we gubbed on a double double. Ended the night stopping at our friend Marco’s house and had a really good spiritual lesson with him.
Friday: We helped our 2nd councilor again and this time we ran a booth at a elementary school Halloween party! We were in charge of the soccer station. The kids were kicking the ball so far and elder Hurst had to keep running for it and he was sweating so bad it was funny. I asked him to switch but he said he was fine, even though he just was dumping sweat. The evening was great! Just handing out candy out to kids was so fun!
Saturday: MOMMA LISAS BDAYYYY HAPPY BDAY MOMMA I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU! anyway lol. We had a meeting with the Stake presidency and that was really good! ( remember that lol) Then, we had another lesson with Marco! He seriously is my favorite. I need to get a picture with him so ya’ll can see his light that he has.
Then that night we had the greatest member dinner of all time! ShinodasXVelazquez family. That duo is legit PB&J, Spongebob and patrick, DWADE and Lebron. Seriously, sooooo funny. Had me rolling all night. I haven’t had that much fun in a hot minute. We also called my mom and sang her HappyBday with everyone! Ended the night talking to my goated parents and that’s always gonna be the highlight of the day!
Sunday: Sabbath day really just is goated. Well started fire then was mid. Then was goated! Church was fuego as usual and we had a 5th
Sunday “Linger Longer” and they are a blast! Then we walked legit for like 5 hours and visited people and we were so thirsty it was baddddd.
Then had a member dinner so that was good! And the reason this email is the title is because mid way through the dinner these 2 kids, Hazel and Clavin were wild. They are 4 and 2 and just so funny. They went under the table and just started tickling the crap outta me and I was dying. The parents weren’t really paying attention and we can’t really touch the kids so these kids are just killing me. A wholesome moment though as we were walking out the door. The kids came up and gave me the biggest hug! It was actually so cute! They said thanks missionaries and then ran off to play again. Elder Hurst was ready for his hug but they dipped. haha.
Cool story! After the tickle monsters house we went over to the Stake Priesthood Conference and it was so good! The 2nd Councilor in the Stake presidency gave a talk and gave me a shoutout! While at the stake meeting on Saturday morning he noticed my uplifting attitude and just gave me the nicest shoutout in front of the whole Stake Priesthood congregation! Pretty cool moment!
Well that’s it folks! See ya’ll next week! Should be an awesome week so I’ll make sure I take lots of pics! Love you all so so much! Peace and love!
