Before I get started, here are a couple of Elders you need to know.
Elder Reeves: This was his last transfer and he is Trunky! ( trunky means ready to pack the trunk and head home, for those who don’t know) Elder Reeves is one of the funniest people in the world. He can quote every episode of Spongebob and his humor is unmatched. He is from Orem and has been Trunky for about 3 transfers now.
Elder Loo: He is Elder Reeves’ comp. Been out for one year. Super fun guy and pretty dang funny. We get along super well. So well, we want to be Comps, way bad. He is from Oregon / Kentucky and I happen to know his cousin from high school!
*They are both bike Elders, so we were in charge of driving them EVERYWHERE this last week haha

Monday: Elder Reeves last Pday! He wanted to hit a couple stores and buy some stuff before he left so we did that. It was fun. We went to the mall and I splurged on some shorts I found. Went to the church and played board games. I called the fam, so it was chill.
Tuesday: Elder Reeves had his final temple trip so we had a trio for the morning with Elder Loo! We defiantly skipped out studies and went and picked up some some sushi and some of ” Joe’s Italian Ice”! Joe is a member in a ward in our stake so Missionaries get free ice cream all day! It’s so good! We then dropped off Elder Loo and Elder Reeves. Then, Elder Hurst and I had our “Supa fire Bible study!
Wednesday: Zone council was good as usual! We just talked about how to put people on date. We then went to a random dots (damaged over time) house and had a lesson with our new friend Alma! She is super fun and has a granddaughter who is Wilddddd! She was jumping all over us. It was strange. Alma asked for a blessing and so we gave her a blessing and after she was in tears. She then went on to say she doesn’t have enough money to buy her family dinner that night and just asked if we had 6 bucks to let her borrow so her granddaughter could eat that night. Luckily for me, my amazing Grandma Kinghorn sent me a package with some really yummy snacks and a card with a little cash. I had the impression that Alma and her family needed it more than I did. I gave them some cash so they could eat and it felt amazing. We are meeting with Alma again soon!
Transfer report came out and…… I’m staying in Orange and the Esplanade ward! Elder Hurst and I will be here another 6 weeks at least, and we are excited! Sadly my BFF Elder Hubbard is outta here and idk what I’m gonna do without him. haha
Thursday: Bro. I have no idea what was going on this day. We took Elder Loo and Elder Reeves everywhere. Elder Reeves had so many meetings and we wasted sooooo many miles. haha. While Elder Reeves was at his departure dinner Elder Loo and Elder Hurst’s old companion, who is now home, took us out to dinner! We had chipotle and it was very fire. His name is Elder Gray and he is from AF and his grandparents are in my home ward! However, he went to LP, so we instantly had a little beef. haha. I]m jk he was really cool. We ended up having a sleepover with elder Reeves and Loo and it was sooo fun. We stayed up way too late playing “Go Fish” but we had a blast for Elder Reeves’ last night.
Friday: We woke up at 4 am to drop off Happy Elder Reeves at the mission office. It was so sad because he and I were so close. He wasn’t too sad tho because he was just about to go home and see fam but I was sad. haha. I didn’t get much sleep after that because we had a LONGGGGG day of visits. We also helped Elder Loo’s new companion move in and get settled in. He is an interesting guy, lemme tell ya. RIP Elder Loo. At the end of the night I just felt sick because of the lack of sleep and everything, so I crashed!
Saturday: The Ward Halloween party was CRAZYYYYY! We got there at about one p.m. to help set up and we stayed until 8ish. It was a long day but the party so much fun! I wish I had taken at least one picture, but I was having too much fun with everyone! They had some gas tacos and some fun games. Then they had a trunk or treat! Some nice people gave us some candy so we could pass it out to the kids. I was throwing the candy and the kids had to catch it and if they didn’t they had to come back and try again. It was so fun and they were loving us! We then had our zone devotional and it was really good. We just set our zone goals for the transfer and just talk about the work. It was super chill.
Sunday: Sunday was good! It’s always a good day when you can take the sacrament! We had a good lesson in Elder’s quorum meeting as well! (Notice the matching ties?) We did a bunch of visits in the afternoon and stopped by a couple of member’s homes that evening! We visited with the Elders quorum president and his family for a long time. They are so fun! Lots of kids and a couple of them are about my age so it’s always good to relate to them a little!
Hope you all have a baller week and a great fall! I’m bummed because it’s “Hoodie Season” and if you know me, you know I only wear hoodies from September to March. So, I’m definitely missing my hoodie collection right about now. Anyway, that’s all for this week! Hope you all have a baller week and a great fall! Have a great week and EVERYONE SAY YOUR PRAYERS!!!! HE IS ALWAYS LISTENING!
