What up everybodyyyy! How ya all doin!?!? I’m living life out here and Cali is definitely different than Utah, that’s for sure. The area is super awesome but it just feels like a different country. I hate the traffic and there is no where to park. But, if that is my biggest concern I’m doing pretty good.
The reason I titled this post BCC boyyy is because I am starting to turn into my awesome Mom. I’m learning that I’m a clean freak. I need to be organized about everything. I was doing laundry and I was missing a black Nike sock. I was so angry. I never knew why Mom would get so mad when I had single socks in the laundry bin, but now I know. I had a pit in my stomach when I saw just one sock in the bottom of my bin. I was pressed! I ended up going all the way back to the laundry room to see if I dropped the stupid thing. It happened to be stuck to the washer’s inside wall. I never thought I would be so happy to see a sock. Now I get it Mom. Speaking of clothes, so far it’s actually pretty rainy out here in SoCal, and it’s pretty hot. I definitely will need some hoodies because Imma running low. Hahah!
We did exchanges this week and they were a blast! I got to be with my Zone leader on Thursday and then my District leader on Friday. So…..lots of pressure. Hahah! No, they both were super cool and I learned loads from them. They are both amazing missionaries and they are so funny. Elder Nelson, my district leader, and I had the most wild day. We accidentally got into a random person’s car thinking it was ours. The owner was totally watched us get into the car and the look on their face was so funny. We walked up to them and explained the situation. We all laughed it off.
We had a zone conference with Elder Alverado of the Seventy and he was really cool. He is a spiritual giant and loves to have fun.
We did the best worst service project of all time. This family is starting a shop at the Mall and they had to unload a massive Semi truck with 6 tons worth of boxes and stuff. And bro, the stuff was soooo heavy it was a joke. It was like, “Ain’t no way we can get this all done”. I don’t think I have sweat that much in my whole life. We ended up getting most of our Zone involved. Lots of hands can do great work. We ended up getting it all unloaded and up to their store space. The family was super grateful for sure. We are still sore from carrying all of the boxes but it was all worth it!
Well, that’s all for this week! See y’all soon! Love you guys.
