“but I’m almost at the finish line and I can’t stop now….” What’s up everyone! This is a random song from NBA 2k12 and has been stuck in my head all week. It is so relatable for me. Having less than one transfer left really puts my gas tank on empty As the song says, I am almost at the finish line so I can’t stop now. I could be botching the lyrics to the song as well. It’s been over 2 years or so since I heard it. Anyway! Lets get into it cause it was transfer week!
We had some good lessons this week. Guille is doing okay. She caught Covid this week so she didn’t make it to church and has been struggling with her testimony of the Prophet Russell M. Nelson, so please pray for her. On the other hand, our friend Brandon is so elect. We met with him a couple times this week and the spirit was so strong. He is thinking about baptism but is a little unsure cause he doesn’t know very much about the church organization so we just gotta teach him. He came to church all dressed up and bro was CHEESING ALL MEETING! It was so wholesome.
We have a new transfer so we have are in a new zone! With that, we have a new theme of “superheros”. It’s been fun. I got permission to make a video from Avengers Endgame and missionary work and it was a hit at our training meeting with the other missionaries. We are gonna have a fun transfer. The video in my google photos album.
Lowkey transfer week is always long but it’s alright cause we made it! To end the last transfer I had some great last days with Elder Stuard. I really enjoyed my time with him so it was sad to see him go. We got together as a zone and signed some transfer journals and took pictures before everyone left, so that was fun.
Before we left, we shared a ward with some sisters For some reason, this week the present ward did not sign up to feed any of us. Tough! However, one of the sisters came up with an idea, which was that we pick a night in the week and we feed each other! It was really fun. When it was our turn we made my Aunt Christy’s White Chicken Chili recipe. We dropped it off and they later called and said it was sooo good and they loved it! They were in awe that we made it. haha! Thanks Christy!!!
Well, transfers happened and I am now with Elder Stephenson! He is from Prescott Arizona and it’s been fun so far! I served with him in Sunset Beach so we got to catch up. So far it’s been a pretty good match. He is 10 months in and so he has a TON of fire and is so ready to grind. He is perfect for me at this point in my mission. It has been super helpful because he is keeping me fired up and going. haha!

We found some cool people this week which was dope. One dude stopped us this week and preached how we need to be “Born again”. We explained more about the our church and he to grab his wallet and give us $100 cash. It was so random, but so fire.

Overall I am doing good. haha. People ask how I’m feeling. It’s just a bunch of various emotions. I’ve tried to get lost in studies.
This week I had a really good “Personal Study” of my patriarchal blessing. From the “My Plan” course it says to study your blessing and circle or write down all of the words that describe you. It was so cool to see all the words that describe me. It really helped me learn who God needs me to be. So, I highly recommend you do that!
I love you all and I hope you all have a good start to June! Goated month fr.
