How is it going everyone!!! This week was so crazy I don’t think I can even do a day by day report, so this one is going to be a bit different!!
Let’s start with some fun stuff that happened this week! We had interviews with President Galotera and they are so fun these days!!! We were just laughing the whole time and it was so much fun.
We had a Zoom Lesson with some random dude who was the weirdest guy I have ever met. He instantly just started saying like, “So if I go Mormon, I can have 20 wives!?!” How can I join the Mormon church?” A long story short, he just hung up on us. It was crazy.
We had another rainy day this week and those suck but it makes the day a bit more interesting for sure, being on bikes and all. Bro miller took us to get Little Caesars for dinner. He is a homie for sure.
Also, I learned that Tiger Woods childhood home is in my area which is sooo sick! Well according to google maps it’s the right one, but I’m not so sure about it. haah! Anyway, we rode by and I got a pic next to it so that was cool!
We read from the Book of Mormon with a sweet old lady in a retirement home and we had to push her around her place in her wheelchair and it was like the cartoon game Mario Kart, I swear. There were so many people around that we were swerving between people. It was so wild and funny.
There was a baptism in another area in our zone and one of our friends Michael came, so we got to go to the baptism and it was so cool to see.
Last but not least, this story is so funny! We were tracting in a neighborhood and we had’t had any people open and talk to us. On out last door it was my comps turn. I am just chillin minding my own business and Elder Paget is straight up 2 inches away from this dude’s window looking inside his house. I didn’t even notice until some dude inside the house starts yelling his head off and cussing us out. Man, it scares the crap out of elder Paget. It was sooooo funny. The guy was letting elder Paget know everything on his mind. It was crazy.
This week I had a couple really cool spiritual experiences! I have been really trying to do as it says in Alma 37:37 and trying to pray and council with the Lord in everything that I do. I have been saying so many prayers and asking the Lord what to do next.
We were trying to figure out which apt complex we wanted to tract and I said, ” Well, let’s ask the Lord which one of these apartments has someone who is ready for the gospel” We pray and continue riding our bikes around until I saw this one complex that just screamed at me! We go in and we found 2 people! The people we found weren’t like super golden or anything but It was a really cool experience. I was able to “have” by asking the Lord what we should do next!
Well everyone that’s all I got in the tank for this week! Missions are so stupid hard but so so worth it at the end of each and every day! I am so glad to be serving a mission and I’m so happy with the growth I have been able to see in myself.
