I know ya’ll just heard from me. lol So this is not an usual email but I gotta keep the streak right?
On Friday we got to go down to the Newport Beach temple and do endowments and it was so good! I love the temple!
But, the past 2 days were lowkey roughhhh! haha! Saturday was sooooo hot and we were cooked all day cause our lessons canceled and we had to re-plan our day so many times. It was just a long day.
And, Sunday was a headache cause so many people needed a ride so we called so many members trying to coordinate rides. We we finally got it set up, some of the people canceled. However, one positive from the week was that our friend Alvin came to church! He is a homie and he seemed to like it so that was good!
Okay everyone… I’m gonna be 100 percent honest. I can now understand why people could get “trunky” at the end of their missions. I’m not saying that I am trunky, but I can totally get it. Having these rough days make it hard to stay focused 100% of the time and it made me realize how easy it can be to check out near the end of your mission. I have been keeping myself busy with good conference talks that I like and trying to spend as much time in the scriptures as I can. I always remind myself how important this work is and how crucial it is that I stay here physically and mentally.
I love the Savior and I love this work. This truly is the most important thing in this world and I feel so privileged to have so many more days being a missionary. I have gained such a strong testimony of the Savior and how much he truly does for me each and everyday.
I have loved listening to talks to help me in my free time and I love listening to new talks! If any of you missionaries, friends, family, or anyone has any talks to send my way please do!!! I will listen!!!! Love you guys!!!
Happy Mother’s Day to all those Moms out there! I have the best one thooooo! Love you Momma!
